Royal Honour for the Pink Ladies !

It was announced in the Queen's Birthday Honours List of the 14th June that Her Majesty had awarded Annie the British Empire Medal for her decade of work with the Ladies' Tractor Road Run for Cancer Research UK.

Annie said that she was thrilled that her Pink Ladies and all her back up team had received such special recognition through this award to her. She was also very humbled by this personal honour knowing that there are so many whose endeavours are equally deserving.

Annie was pleased that the award received very full coverage in all the regional and local media as it will do much to help raise awareness of the cause.

With the sensitivity typical of all devoted husbands, John has brought Annie back to earth with a reminder that you're only as good as your last performance - so all efforts are now concentrated on final preparations for the 11th Run on the 6th July
